It is a company that normally sells portable solar powered products and their Golf cart initiative is backed by their partnership with Lakeland-based Golf Ventures. The latter supplies golf-clubs and other such equipment that is related to the sport.

SoloPower Introduces Flexible Solar Panels For RoofTops

Solar energy has always been about adoption. Or the lack thereof actually. The prohibitive cost of going solar for the common man is something that everyone involved is trying to bring down or work around. Taiwanese Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) Buys Stake In US-Based Solar Firm Stion Corp

The Taiwanese Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has bought a large stake in the US-bsed Solar Energy firm Stio Corp. TSMC is the largest contract chip maker in the world this and they have been pushing into the clean energy sector for quite some time now. Other than the stake in the company, TSMC has also entered a technological contract with Stion whereby they will be manufacturing solar panels for the energy firm.

7 Solar Technologies Find A Test Site Set Up By Chevron — Project Brightfield

Chevron, the second largest oil company in the US, has initiated what it calls Project Brightfield. It is a testing site for solar technologies located in Bakersfield, California, that has about 7,700 solar panels. It is going to be used for testing out seven different technologies that are related to making electricity from the sun.
