“There was no way to do a daytime talk show every day and still be a director”, Tyler said during Thursday’s episode. The busy talk show host, who has been a regular on the CBS daytime show for the past six seasons, has made a decision to move on from her role as a co-host. During the show, today’s co-hosts, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, Aisha Tyler, and Sheryl Underwood talk about all things celebrity, motherhood, and more to their viewers! “It’s called Axis. I always dreamt of this and I didn’t know how it would go and it was one of the best experiences of my life”. I could not have done with this without you.
Tyler was visibly emotional while explaining her decision to leave the Emmy winning CBS talk show.
Tyler’s busy schedule was the problem for the host and actress. It’s all because of scheduling. She is the host of Whose Line Is It Anyway, a newly promoted regular on Criminal Minds, a voice actor on the animated series Archer and a panelist on The Talk. “Our friendships are so precious to me, and the thing I’m going to miss most is all of the time we get to spend together when we’re not on camera”, she continued.
You can see Aisha Tyler on The Talk weekdays on CBS for the rest of this season. She revealed what made her exit the CBS daytime show, and it has nothing to do with her divorce from ex-husband Jeff Tietjens. Who should replace her at the table? “Always.” On the snap, she added, “#squadgoalsforever”.
What’s your reaction to Aisha Tyler leaving The Talk? .
“People always go “How to you do all that?’, and I don’t always have an answer”, Tyler said on the show, also saying, “[‘The Talk”] is such a joy that it never feels like work to me”. In a second post, Aisha captioned a photo of her Talk co-hosts with the hashtag #squadgoalsforever.
