Three teenagers have been arrested in the U.S. state of Georgia after police say they broke into a woman’s home and then assaulted and raped her in front of her young son.
She had set both boys down, locked the front door to her Norcross apartment and walked into her living room when she saw that two men in dark clothes and ski masks were in her kitchen, according to an incident report filed with the Gwinnett County Police Department.
They threw pots of boiling water at her as she tried to escape and protect her sons, before shocking her with tasers and taking her to the bedroom.
Police have arrested 17-year-old Francisco Palencia, 19-year-old Josue Ramirez and an unnamed 15-year-old female in connection with the assault.
An unidentified 15 year-old girl was also arrested and is accused of driving the two men to the apartment.
The victim claims that the three Georgia teens broke into her home back in mid-May. Her other child was in a vehicle seat near the kitchen.
They were being held in Gwinnett County Jail without bond, online records show.
The teenagers allegedly attacked the woman when she came home with her two sons to find them insider her apartment in Gwinnett, Georgia, at 3am on May 12.
She later told police that her younger son was in a auto seat near the kitchen during the assault, while her older son – who followed her and one of the suspects into the bedroom – sat on the bed as she was raped and witnessed the “entire incident”, according to the police report, which did not indicate the age of the woman’s children. One of the victim’s children went into the bedroom and witnessed the rape.
Investigators said the woman’s jewelry box, school identification and the clothes she was wearing before she was assaulted were missing from her home. It was then that she called police to report the horrific attack.
The teens are facing charges for kidnapping, rape, cruelty to children, home invasion and aggravated battery.
